  • Only authorised team members (Bronte Purcell) have access to sensitive material

Disclosure of Information

All information disclosed within sessions are confidential, and by law may not be revealed to anyone without your permission, with the follow exceptions:

  • Duty to protect- If you disclose serious intent to harm yourself or another person, I may be obligated to contact others in an attempt to prevent harm. If you state that you/someone else is physically, sexually, or emotionally abusing or neglecting a child/dependent adult, I may be obligated to report this.

  • Supervision & Consultation- With intention to provide the best treatment, on occasion I may seek supervision or consult with professional colleagues, and anything mentioned will be without names or identifying information.

  • Authorised disclosure to designated third party- You may sign a written release of treatment information to an authorised third party. Or if ordered by court subpoena.

  • Collections- If you default payment, I may assign your account to a collection agency and disclose the amount owed, inclusive dates of service, and any relevant identifying information to that agency. This information may then appear on your credit report. The content of therapy services remains confidential and is not disclosed.

We may share some relevant information to our administrative team, or marketing team, to provide you with the services you request. See below.

We take reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
