Hey there, my name is Bronte Purcell.
Hey there, my name is Bronte Purcell.
I am a bachelor-qualified naturopath (BHSc) , post-grad qualified psychotherapist registered with PACFA, as well as a trained menstrual educator, birth doula & massage therapist.
I’m sure you can tell that I am a keen learner, and student of life. I specialise in working with uncommonly curious, sensitive, and deep feeling humans because I get it and have spent my entire life as one. I spent my 20s studying, learning, travelling, exploring internally & externally. This chapter of my life in my 30s is now focused on harvesting all that I have learnt, embodying it in my day to day and offering it back to fellow travellers who wish to walk alongside.
I bring my lived experience and professional education into the work that I do. What truely shapes my knowledge as a therapist and practitioner is my own health journey with anxiety, panic attacks, pcos and post-pill ammenhorea in my late teens & early 20s. As well as years of receiving therapy in different psychotherapeutic modalities, naturopathic care, silent meditation retreats, nature-based vision quests, embodiment workshops, and other personal initiations. I combine all of this rich knowledge with years of institutional study which I list in more detail below.
The work that I do is a body, mind & whole-being approach to well-being. There is an innate wisdom that exists within every living being, that is constantly working towards our survival, our healing, and our growth. Therefore, it is my role as a therapist & practitioner to work in collaboration with you so that you can reconnect to this wisdom.
As a psychotherapist, I create an explorative space built on safety, openness, curiosity, compassion and deep listening as I believe you are your own best teacher and I am here to offer guidance into your own truth. I meet you in the depths of your inner wildness, so that you can dissolve shame and welcome home the suppressed parts of yourself and return to a sense of wholeness & humanness. I combine somatics, parts work and nervous system work.
As a naturopath, I provide holistic care for women’s reproductive health. I consider your physical, mental, and emotional health and we create a plan together to support you on your journey. This might include herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle advice. I work with people experiencing pms, pmdd, pcos, post-pill support, irregularities, anxiety, depression.
