What is it?

This is an abdominal, sacral and womb massage that combines techniques from Fertility Massage, Lomi Lomi Massage, Mayan and Chinese Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage. It is designed to increase the flow of chi (energy), release physical/emotional congestion and balance the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous systems. As a trained birth doula, death doula and massage therapist, I incorporate all of this knowledge into my work. My sessions have been specifically designed to support those through sacred life transitions and rites of passage including menarche, menstruation, preconception, postpartum and beyond. I also create sacred space for those wishing to honour loss, stillbirth, miscarriage or abortion. The 90 minute session involves a short consult, intention setting, massage treatment, rebozo, & integration. The primary areas of focus for the treatment include the shoulders, lower back, hips, sacrum, womb space, reproductive organs, bladder, large and small intestines. The session also includes a rebozo for integration at the end of the treatment, which involves wrapping the body with traditional handwoven material to create a womb-like space for you to come completely rest in stillness and come home to your yourself. I offer these treatments from a clinic space in South Golden Beach on Wednesdays, you will receive the address upon booking.
